Privacy policy

What data cilclegal.org processes, for what purpose, and what rights the people concerned have.

1. Data controller

International Council for the Fight against Corruption (CILC).

Address: Roque Sáenz Peña 651, office 64, Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires, Argentina.

Email: info@cilclegal.org.

2. General principle

cilclegal.org is a static, informational website. It contains no forms, requires no registration and collects no personal data directly through its pages.

3. Cookies and analytics

The site uses no first-party or third-party cookies, and no analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling tools.

4. Data processed

Connection data. The hosting provider automatically logs the IP address, user agent, date and time and the address requested, in order to deliver the service, secure it and prevent abuse. The Council does not use those logs to identify individuals.

Email correspondence. Anyone writing to the Council supplies the data they choose to include in their message (name, email address, organisation and the content of the enquiry). These are processed solely to reply to and follow up the request.

Data exchange programme. Participating companies and suppliers voluntarily contribute information about procurement procedures. That data is added to the Council's monitoring register and is used and published only in aggregated, anonymised form, without identifying the contributor unless they expressly agree.

5. Legal basis and purpose

Connection data are processed on the basis of the Council's legitimate interest in delivering and protecting the site. Correspondence and data contributed to the exchange programme are processed on the basis of the sender's consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.

6. Retention

Connection logs are retained for the technical period set by the hosting provider. Correspondence is retained for as long as it is needed to handle the request and to document the relationship with the person or organisation who wrote.

7. Recipients and processors

The Council does not sell, rent or transfer personal data to third parties. The following act as service providers: Cloudflare, Inc. (site hosting and content delivery) and Purelymail (email service for the domain). Both process data on the Council's behalf and under their own policies.

Data may be disclosed to public authorities where there is a legal obligation to do so.

8. International transfers

The providers named above may host or process information on servers located outside the Argentine Republic. The Council selects providers offering adequate guarantees of security and confidentiality.

9. Minors

The site is not directed at minors and does not knowingly collect data from minors.

10. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated. The applicable version is the one published on this page, bearing the last-updated date shown below.
